Google is disabling support for devices with outdated Android versions


Google is disabling support for its services on smartphones running on older versions of the Android operating system.From September 27, Google will no longer support logging into accounts of Android devices running version 2.3.7 or lower, ”writes TASS with reference to Google’s technical support service.

It is noted that this was done as part of efforts to preserve the safety of users.

The company warned that when trying to log into their accounts with the old version of the OS, people will encounter an error when entering a password and will not be able to use their e-mail, their YouTube accounts, or cards.

The company encourages everyone using the old Android firmware to update the system to version 3.0 or higher.
