An exhibition dedicated to women’s fashion of the 19th-20th centuries has opened in Krasnodar
A new exhibition “Earthly Beauty: The World of a Woman” has started at the Falsity Museum.
The exhibition project reveals to the visitors the unique world of women of various nationalities: Circassian women, Russians, Greek women, representatives of Armenian and Estonian culture.
The exhibition “Earthly Beauty: Woman’s World” presents unique traditional women’s complexes of the XIX-XX centuries from private collections of official partners and from the collections of the Museum. E. D. Falsity.
The first hall contains exhibits representing the traditional culture and life of the peoples of the Kuban. In the second hall – women’s fashion from the early 20th century. Here the atelier of a fashion and manufacture store was recreated, to which the ladies were in a hurry for a new dress and hat. In the same room, samples of women’s hand and machine lace from a private collection are presented.
Of particular interest is a collection of jewellery and photographs of female images of the 19th – 20th centuries, as well as a collection of female headdresses of Russian settlers, which entered the funds of the E.D. Feisty before the revolution.
A unique exhibit of the exhibition project is a tea dress of the 19th century from the private collection of the museum – the Osobnyak gallery.
The exhibition is open until May 30, according to the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Krasnodar Territory.
As previously reported by “Kubanskie Novosti”, the Slavic treasure of coins in full collection will be shown for the first time in Krasnodar.
